We're back with six brand new episodes to talk all things periods and chemistry! This time we wanted to focus on how different stages of a career can be affected by reproductive health.

We are joined by some incredible guests who have been generous enough to share their stories with us. Our guests come from a variety of institutions, and range from PhD students to senior lecturers. Some of the topics we'll be tackling this season include: endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, the menopause, perimenopause, and infertility.

GenSTEM is an event for both 'women in...' and any other minority groups studying and working in STEM at the University of Oxford. It is ran by societies that provide a speaker platform as well as a careers fair.

Our wonderful project lead, Charlie Simms spoke on the panel 'Challenges, progress and opportunities for an eq

uitable future in academia, industry and beyond.' This is such an important conversation and we are so proud of Charlie for being such an amazing advocate for gender equity in STEM!

After a successful video campaign, Periodically won the Bright Network's NextGen award in the 'Women Who Inspire' category. In December, four of us had the opportunity to travel to London for the awards ceremony. It was amazing to meet different students and society members from universities across the country! We also had the chance to present on the work we have done in Periodically, which received a great response.

What makes this award so special is that it was voted for by our listeners! We are so grateful for the support Periodically has received, and it is an honour to have our work recognised this way.
