In collaboration with the talented Andy Brunning of Compound Interest we have created an infographic about the chemistry behind the menstrual cycle, including the chemical triggers for menstruation, and what causes period cramps!

You can download a copy of the graphic via the Compound Interest website.

PERIODically was awarded the prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry 2024 Horizon Prize for Education “for sparking discussion around the challenges menstrual periods create for people working in higher education, acting as advocates to help remove stigma and drive change towards greater equity.”

We would like to give a special thank you to all of our incredible Season 2 guests. Their openness to talk about their experiences has been so inspiring! Each episode has helped spark important conversations and reduce the stigma surrounding menstruation.
